| meandering monotony
wandering aimlessly
disconnected with this world
supersonic kenosis
nothing interests me
I'm afraid
because I know there's more I need to let go
why do I do the things I do?
it's true
the soul is willing
and yet the flesh is weak
and the will still weaker, but growing stronger
god please give me a purpose that's satisfying too
perhaps that's too much to ask
but I don't know what makes sense anymore
do you test me with this misery?
I think I could do better if I was happy
passion is my fuel
you granted me with creativity
and took away my drive
gave me understanding
but never the ability to explain
and how I long to reach out to others
maybe they'll understand my twisted metaphorical logic
I feel like I'm weaving a web and only catching the wind
and sometimes like the invisible man...
how did I get in this abyss of darkness?
the water is rising
and I'm afraid I can't swim... |
