| I quit...didn't learn anything first year.
IT Management mbo4 (so not really high education)
I will try to start again this year and hope I can stay motivated so that I can do higher education. (I get demotivated if I don't learn anything from it) |

Just about everybody I talk with that is doing a IT schooling is just on there for the free laptop and/or gaming during school. Dunno if you still get a free laptop...Probably certain schools. Cause a buddy of mine did a IT education and he had to pay for his own laptop... And he also dropped out first year . >_> I think IT has a high percentage of dropouts. Start again? You still young or are going to do some kind of evening school ( those commercials have been bugging me for weeks now...Scheidecker? ) |

| Never see commercial...
Yeah I dropped out after year one cuz it was lame, sitting this room every day doing nothing never learning. No classes to follow nothing.
It almost looks like the gov. planned this so that everybody is going to work after high-school. I learned for electrician whilst I was working in that business, bad payment, not challenging and working with pricks, at the office of the company they were delusional. The school in the evening was ok, but I was too tired from work to be able to be concentrated.
I thought a while about it and thought that IT was more my thing, I like to talk about it and like to discover new things in the business. What job I wanna get later...I dunno a specific job yet but at least there is much to choose from!
Also going to try to finish in 3 instead of 4 years and then hoping to get allowed on HBO.

| So that they can take funds from schooling and put them in good causes for foreign countries.
Heh...Yeah those classes are boring as hell...Even the fucking introduction on our school trying to promote the IT classes was fucking boring.
I'm going to try to finish my 4 year study in 1 year. >_> Don't know the exact things yet I'll need to do for that seeing as government doesn't put shit on sites...So I can never find information about it so I'll just ask for it when I start the education.
Dutch schooling sucks balls... |

That does sound hard, I think you talked about it on the previous forum... So could tell a bit what yer going to do when yer finished with the education? Cause I have a shitty memory... Base pay that's tacked onto the study is mostly bullshit though...Just saying. Ow well...As long you like what you do...Cause high pay < liking your job. |

| # co-workers cleaning up no shit... waiting for me to clear the mess. waiting waiting lurking around. And when the clock hitted 22:00 "ow sorry we got to get the train, we get back early tomorrow, to clean up." This was last day I worked there, I quitted the job there (first two months of a job-contract you can quit without any problems)
next morning they kept calling me, and calling me. voicemail "Sorry we can't get to work on time, please forgive me, but when we get there there is no time left to open the restaurant. "
now still calling me on my cellphone, 3 minutes befor the boss arived with the keys (I gave him) Answered the phone, and told them They still had to clean up. And even them asking me to help them out. Never seen that freeking lazy guys.
But dunno if it is lazyness. They even kept calling me a whole day (when I was sick at home) If I please could help them for about ten minutes ( yeah, I knew what was going to happen...)
But how they were, very nice guys, very social, never said a wrong word. but never listening. Now, they can get their unused babyhands to clean up the lavastone-grill, the greasy stove, and the deepfryer.

Ah that's most people I've met in lower education jobs...I've worked in storage buildings...Those people really just give up after a few years and then do the bare minimum to keep their jobs. |

| They should have cleaned up right away cuz hygiene is really important in food business. Plus when it is fresh it is easier to clean then the next day. |
